Bajaj Pulsar VS400 Styling

The Bajaj Pulsar VS400 has taken a few of its design elements from the Ducati Diavel, though the former is kept quite compact. It also shares its features with the Pulsar 200NS, though the VS400 is bigger in overall proportion than the former. Going by the pictures, it is visible that the production-spec model looks largely similar to the concept that was put up on display at the Delhi Auto Expo in 2014. The VS400 does not look like a conventional cruiser, but features a more modern styling that sits somewhere between a cruiser and naked streetfighter. Designed for highway cruising, the bike comes with a raked fascia. The sporty front cowl sports a large LED headlight and sweptback visor.

The Pulsar VS400 features split instrument cluster, while the smartly placed flat-set handlebar houses LCD display. Other design highlights include sculpted fuel tank and body cowl, and twin-slash LED tail-lamps. This is for the first time that Bajaj bike comes equipped with an all-digital instrument cluster. The muscular tank sports contours that seems inspired from the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200. To make it a comfortable sports tourer, the company will install stepped saddle seat instead of the split seats that we find in most bikes of this capacity. The upswept tail section features signature Pulsar twin-slash LED setup for the taillamp, which gives you glimpse of the Ducati Diavel.

The concept model showcased at the Auto Expo was equipped with USD forks upfront; however, the production-spec model comes with regular telescopic forks. The rear end gets a mono-shock setup. With chunky box-section swingarm and long wheelbase, the bike has been designed to give an improved high-speed stability. It comes fitted with MRF RevZ C1 tyres instead of the Metzelers available in the KTMs.
