It is no secret that Bajaj is working on the new Pulsar range, which includes new 250cc, 200cc and 150cc motorcycles. The next-gen Bajaj Pulsar 250 naked bike has already been caught testing earlier this year. It seems like the 250cc Pulsar range will also get a semi-faired version. A new 250cc faired motorcycle has been caught testing, which shares lot of similarities with the previous Pulsar 250.
The semi-faired motorcycle is expected to be called the new Bajaj Pulsar 250F, following the tradition of hugely popular Pulsar 220F. The Pulsar 220F is also a semi-faired motorcycle. The spotted Bajaj Pulsar 250F was fully covered in a thick cloth; however, it still reveals some key details.
The Pulsar 250F features a quarter fairing adjoining the headlamp section and the fuel tank. It also comes fitted with fairing-mounted rear-view mirrors and clip-on handlebars, similar to the Pulsar 220F. The rear profile also shares the similarities with the previously spotted Pulsar 250 naked. The vehicle gets similar grab rails, but the tail-lamp design is difficult to notice due to the camouflage.
Features like alloy wheels design, tyre hugger, disc brakes and the exhaust canister looks similar to the naked version. The new motorcycles are likely to feature LED lighting, full digital instrument console and Bluetooth connectivity. It is expected that the new Pulsar 250 range will be based on an all-new platform.
The bike will get conventional telescopic forks at the front and monoshock unit at the rear. It will get disc brakes at the front and rear, and will receive dual-channel ABS system as a standard fitment along with the slipper clutch.
The new Pulsar 250F & 250 Naked are likely to get the new 250cc oil cooled engine with power output close to 24bhp. The new Bajaj Pulsar 250 will be positioned against the Yamaha FZ25 and the Suzuki Gixxer 250.
