Clear images of the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar RS200 (Pulsar 200 RS) have hit the web world ahead of its tomorrow launch. The fully-faired bike will be the fastest Pulsar yet and is expected to be priced around Rs. 1.3 lakhs.
The spotted vehicle was the ABS equipped variant. The Pulsar RS 200 will be offered in two variants- with and without ABS. It is visible that the front mudguard of the bike has ABS sticker, making it the first Pulsar to feature this safety feature.
The Pulsar RS200 will be powered by the 199.5cc triple-spark single-cylinder engine that also powers the 200 NS. This engine is likely to get a fuel-injection system and is capable of producing 24.4PS of top power and 18.6Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to roads via a six-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle is around 6kg heavier than the naked 200NS, making it 151 kilos. Dimensionally, the Pulsar 200 RS is 2,060mm long, 750mm wide and 1,160mm tall, and has a ground clearance of 165mm. The company has already started the production of the bike at its Chakan plant, and models have already dispatched to dealerships for customer preview. Bookings for the bike have commenced at a token amount of Rs. 5,000, while the deliveries are likely to commence in April.
