Bajaj Kratos 400 – 5 Things To Know

Bajaj Kratos 400 Spied

Here are five interesting things you should know about the upcoming Bajaj Kratos 400 Cruiser Sport.

Full LED headlamps with DRLs/ Suspension & Braking

The Kratos VS400 will be the first Bajaj bike in India to get LED headlamps, taillamps and turn indicators. There is an upswept tail-section with Pulsar twin-slash LED setup for the taillights. The Pulsar CS400 showcased at the Auto Expo was equipped with USD front forks, but the Kratos gets regular telescopic forks upfront and mono-shock at the rear. Instead of the Metzelers, the bike gets MRF RevZ C1 tyres. The bike gets single drilled disc brakes and ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System). It will also get slipper clutch as optional.

Price & Competition

The Bajaj Kratos VS400 won’t have a direct competition in the market. However, the cruiser sport will directly target the Royal Enfield’s motorcycles in India. The bike will also rival against the Benelli TNT300, Mahindra Mojo and KTM Duke. The Kratos will be locally developed in the country. With 100 per cent localisation on cards, we expect the bike to be priced in the range of Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 1.8 lakh.
