With aggressive pricing, the new Bajaj Dominar 400 motorcycle goes against the Royal Enfield Himalayan & Mahindra Mojo.

Bajaj Auto, the homegrown two-wheeler maker had launched the Bajaj Dominar 400 power-cruiser in the country in December 2016. After getting a positive response from buyers, the sales of the motorcycle has witnessed a constant decline. In a bid to improve its sales, Bajaj had launched the Matte Black edition of the motorcycle. The company has now launched the 2018 Bajaj Dominar 400 in the country. The model was unveiled at the launch event of new 2018 Discover range. The 2018 model is available in 3 exciting colors – Rock Matte Black, Canyon Red and Glacier Blue. These new colours will give this power cruiser a bolder and macho image. Save for the new colours, the 2018 model won’t see much changes in terms of design and features. Adding to it, company has also given the entire range of Dominar 400s alloy wheels with a golden finish. Read About: 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 150 | 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 180

Just to jog your memory, the Dominar 400 was first displayed to public at the 2014 Auto Expo in concept form. With this power cruiser, Bajaj not only tapped into the sub-400cc space, but it also introduced its new brand Dominar which it envisages expanding in the coming years. The Pune-based maker has already started exporting this naked streetfighter to select overseas markets. Featuring a butch stance, the cruiser is claimed to offer best of the both worlds-comfort of a cruiser and ruggedness of a naked streetfighter. The new entrant from Bajaj has no direct rival, but its aggressive pricing puts it in crosshairs of Royal Enfield Himalayan and Mahindra Mojo.
