Bajaj Auto has silently added the new variants to its CT100 and Platina model lineup. Positioned top in the lineup, the new Bajaj CT100 ES Alloy is priced at Rs 41,997 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Bajaj CT100 ES Alloy features the same 99.27cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine making 8bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.05Nm of torque at 4,500rpm. This motor, with a 4-speed constant mesh gearbox, delivers a top sped of 90kmph. This new variant is available with electric start and alloy wheels. The suspension setup of the bike includes hydraulic, telescopic tyre up front and trailing arm with co-axial hydraulic shock absorber and coil springs SNS rear unit. On the other hand, the Bajaj Platina 100 Spoke ES comes packed with the same 102cc, single-cylinder DTS-I engine churning out 8bhp at 7,500rpm against a peak torque of 8.6Nm at 5,000rpm. It is capable of attainting a top speed of 90kmph.
Talking about Bajaj’s future plan, the Pune-based bikemaker has confirmed that will bring in seven new products by the end of this year. The new models will come under its seven popular bands – Avenger, V, Dominar, Pulsar, Discover, Platina and CT.
