Bajaj Chetak To Get 6 Colours; Price Will Be Below Rs 1.5Lakh
Bajaj Chetak electric scooter recently made its debut at an event in Delhi. It will be the first model to launch under Bajaj’s Urbanite electric sub-brand.
Pune will be the first city to receive the new Bajaj electric scooter, followed by Bengaluru and other cities. The company hasn’t yet revealed its price, but confirmed that 2020 Bajaj Chetak will be priced below Rs 1.5 lakh.

The scooter has retro-classic design with features such as horseshoe-shaped headlamp with LED element, curvy body panels, 12-inch alloys, a digital instrument cluster, single-sided cast aluminium swingarm and telescopic front forks.
Talking about the powertrain, the 2020 Bajaj Chetak electric will make use of a 4kW electric motor paired to a lithium-ion battery pack with NCA (Nickel Cobalt Aluminum Oxide) cells. Check Out – Bajaj Avenger 400 Might Look Like This
This IP67 certified battery pack can be charged via 5-15 Amp household power socket. It has been boosted with regenerative braking system and a reverse assistance mode.
The all-new Chetak with an electric powertrain will be capable to deliver a top speed of around 60kmph. It offers two riding modes – Eco and Sport.
The electric range of the scooter stands at 100km in Eco mode and 85km in Sport mode. Power will be delivered to the rear wheel via an automated gearbox that’s claimed to be highly efficient.
