Update: Bajaj Pulsar 150NS Expected Launch Date, Price in India, Mileage, Specs
Bajaj Auto, the homegrown automaker is planning to launch at least 6 new bikes in the market in next six months. The company is aiming to further expand its Pulsar range in the market. Bajaj Auto will launch Pulsar 200 SS and Pulsar 400 SS in the first half of this year. Adding to it, the company is also preparing the Pulsar 160 NS (Pulsar 150NS) which is likely to be launched in the second quarter of 2015. Few days back, the Pulsar 150 NS was showcased to international public and now the vehicle has been spotted testing.
It is speculated that the company will use the 150 NS moniker instead of the 160 NS; however, nothing concrete on the same have been revealed by the maker. The spotted model largely looks identical to the 200 NS, but it does not have a rear disc brakes. Adding to it, the bike also features kick-starter. It is expected that the bike features tri-spark plug and 4-valve engine. The engine will be tuned to offer improved performance, and is clubbed to a five-speed gearbox.
The bike is expected to be more powerful than the current generation Pulsar 150 and offers better fuel efficiency. The new Pulsar 150 NS will compete against the likes of TVS Apache RTR 160, Yamaha FZ F1 V2.0, Suzuki Gixxer and Honda CB Unicorn 160.
