Co-founded by two bike enthusiasts, Gaurav Aggarwal and Vijay Singh, the brand recently signed an agreement with the global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) S&S, Mustang & Kellermann. Under this joint venture, the global brands will supply motorcycle engines and parts for the Avantura bikes.

Avantura Choppers Launch Date
India’s first ultra premium motorcycle brand, Avantura Choppers has confirmed that it will launch its first model in November, 2017. Currently, the first batch of Avantura motorcycles is under final phase of ARAI approval. The Avantura motorcycles will be assembled at the brand’s Vasai facility located in outskits of Mumbai.

Initially, the company will introduce two variants of Avantura motorcycle. In terms of design, both the models might look slightly different. In fact, the engine power and torque figures might also vary. The technical and feature details are yet to be revealed. Though, it’s confirmed that the Avantura bikes will have a perfect blend of high-performance engines and high-end components. And that will surely make them heavy on your pocket. We expect them to come within the price range of Rs 20 lakh – Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom). Since these motorcycles will serve a niche segment, they won’t have any competition in the Indian market. Avantura Choppers Design
Now, let me take you to the history of the Chopper bikes. The choppers are essentially the extremely modified bikes originated in California in late 1950. Early choppers were mostly big Harley Davidsons with fat tyres, larger wheels, forward-mounted foot pegs and smaller fuel tank and headlamp. These bikes have stretched-out appearance featuring highly-modified steering angles and lengthened forks. Other key highlights of a chopper include an increased rake angle, a very thick rear tyre, a larger stock front wheel, short “drag” handlebars, hardtail frames, tall “ape hanger”.
The company has confirmed that the choppers have been designed especially for the Indian market. So, we expect them to have more flexible suspension setup and reasonably high ground clearance. The latest spy pictures revealed that the Choppers will come in two variants carrying different designs. One of them was equipped with fully chromed wheels along with unique body graphics and paint scheme. The other one was assembled with Black and chrome dual-tone alloy wheels. Both the bike feature the conventional chopper stance such as raked out front fork and short handlebars. There could be monoshock suspension unit at the rear axle. The seat is positioned a little low and the footpegs are forward-set. Interestingly, the bikes get hand-crafted seat from Mustang.
Avantura Choppers Specifications
Avantura Choppers motorcycles will be propelled by V-twin engines with displacement around 2,000cc. Yes, you read it right – 2,000cc! And what makes us proud that these will be largest capacity bikes ever produced by an Indian brand. ? As i told you in the beginning, the engines will be supplied from the American brand – S&S that has been manufacturing high-performance solutions from more than last 50 years.
The transmission unit (6-speed) and suspension setup will be sourced from two different American brands – Rivera and Progressive respectively. While the Avantura bikes’s tyres will come from UK-based brand – Avon, the brake callipers and turn singles will be from the French ‘Beringer’ and the German ‘Kellerman’ brands respectively.
