The Aprilia RS 150 and the Tuono 150’s design inspiration comes from the bigger RSV4 and the Tuono V4 1100 Factory, respectively. While the RS 150 is a fully-faired motorcycle to challenge Yamaha R15 V3, the Tuono is a semi-faired bike.
Both the motorcycles powered by a 150cc, liquid-cooled engine with fuel injection. This engine churns out 18bhp of power at 10,000rpm and a peak torque of 14Nm at 7,500rpm. For transmitting power, the engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The bikes also get a Quick shifter, which enable faster shifts and acceleration.
The RS 150 also gets some high-end features, which are most likely to be missed from India-spec model. It comes equipped with a premium 40mm USD front forks with 110 wheel travel and monoshock absorber at the rear with 130mm travel. However, the India-spec model could feature a telescopic suspension unit. Stopping power comes with 300mm disc with radial 4 piston caliper at the front and 218mm disc with single caliper at the rear. The front disc also comes equipped with Bosch ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System).
