The all-new Triumph Tiger 900 motorcycle has been listed on the company’s official India website ahead of its launch next month. The adventure motorcycle will be brought to India via CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route and is estimated to cost around 12 lakh (ex-showroom). Globally, the bike is offered in five variants – Standard, GT, GT Pro, Rally and Rally Pro. Here, it’s likely to be come in GT and Rally variants. At the heart of the Triumph Tiger 900 is a new 888cc, 3-cylinder, inline-triple engine meeting the BS6 emission norms. It has a revised 1-3-2 firing order offering “twin-like feel low in the rev range”.

Triumph Tiger 900 GT India

The motor, paired to a 6-speed gearbox, delivers a peak power of 95PS and a peak torque of 87Nm. It delivers the class-leading acceleration with more distinctive soundtrack. The Tiger 900 GT, the road-focused version of the bike, has been built on an all-new platform and carries new aggressive styling elements. Some of its key features including fully adjustable Marzocchi rear suspension unit, optimized cornering ABS and traction control, a 7-inch full-colour TFT instruments and four riding modes.

Triumph Tiger 900 Rally India

The Triumph Tiger 900 Rally range comes with advanced off-road focused suspension setup and dual-purpose wire wheels. It gets a 7-inch TFT instruments with integrated My Triumph connectivity system. Unlike the GT version, the Rally variant offers 6 riding modes – Road, Sport, Rider, Rain, Off-road and Off-Road Pro. It also gets Triumph shift assist quickshifter. The bikemaker offers over 65 dedicated accessories with the all-new Triumph Tiger 900. It includes two new inspiration kits – Trekker and Expedition – enhancing its touring and off-road capabilities respectively.
