All-New Maruti WagonR Leaked Brochure Reveals All Details

The all-new Maruti WagonR will be available with 2 engine options – 1.0-litre petrol and 1.2-litre petrol.

The all-new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R will go on sale in India on January 23, 2019. Ahead of the launch, the official brochure of the hatchback has been leaked on the internet. The brochure reveals the variant details and specifications of the new Wagon R.

The brochure reveals that the next-gen WagonR will be made available in 3 trim levels – LXi, VXi and ZXi. The top-spec trims – VXi and ZXi will come with automated manual transmission (AMT). In terms of proportions, the 2019 Maruti WagonR is 3,665mm in length, 1,620mm in width and 1,675mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,435mm. The hatchback comes fitted with a 32-litre fuel tank.

The new Maruti Suzuki WagonR will be available with 2 engine options – 1.0-litre K-Series petrol and 1.2-litre K-Series petrol. The LXi and VXi manual get 998cc, 3-clinder engine that produces 67bhp of power at 5,500rpm and 90Nm of torque at 3,500rpm. The top-spec ZXi, ZXi AMT and VXi AMT comes equipped with a 1,197cc, 4-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 82bhp at 6,000rpm and 113Nm of torque at 4,200rpm. The all-new WagonR will be available in 6 exterior paint scheme – Silky Silver, Superior White, Autumn Orange, Magma Grey, Nutmeg Brown and Poolside Blue. While the entry-level variant wides on 13-inch wheels shod with 155/80R13 section tyres, the other variants get 14-inch wheels wrapped in 165/70R14 section tyres. For braking, the hatchback gets disc and drum brakes at the front and rear respectively. Clear images of the hatchback have already been leaked on the internet. The new model looks completely different from the outgoing variant. It comes with a rectangular grille with a chrome strip in the centre, which is flanked by large sweptback headlamps. The hatchback gets a dual-tone bumper with 3-slat air dam with fog lamp pods on either side. It retains the tall-boy design and has vertically positioned tail-light at the rear.
