The next-gen Mahindra Scorpio SUV will be designed by both Mahindra’s Mumbai studio and the Italian design house Pininfarina

Mahindra & Mahindra, the homegrown UV maker is working on a range of new utility vehicles, which will be launched in the next 2-3 years. The company will launch the new XUV700 7-seater SUV in October, which will be followed by a sub-4 meter SUV – codenamed S201. The company will also give a mid-life makeover to its two small SUVs – TUV300 and the KUV100. Two of the Mahindra’s most successful SUVs – the XUV500 and the Scorpio – will also receive a generation change in 2020. According to the latest media report, Mahindra will launch the all-new generation of Mahindra Scorpio in India in 2020.

The report further suggests that the new SUV will receive an all-new design and many segments first and modern features. The next-gen Scorpio will look more aggressive with SUV stance and it will take on the likes of Tata Harrier and Jeep Compass. The premium SUV will launch as soon as the BS-VI emission norms kick in. The all-new Mahindra Scorpio is expected to receive a proper shape of a SUV. The report further claims that the new SUV will be designed by both Mahindra’s in-house design studio in Mumbai and the Italian design house Pininfarina. With premium looks and massive fan following behind, the next-gen Mahindra Scorpio could be a game changer for Mahindra.
