Mahindra has officially started teasing the much-awaited new Scorpio SUV, which has been spotted several times on the Indian roads. The all-new Mahindra Scorpio is expected to be launched in June 2022; however, Mahindra is yet to make an official announcement on the same.
A latest teaser video shows some of the design highlights of the all-new Mahindra Scorpio. Codenamed Z101, the new Scorpio is claimed to “redefine industry benchmarks in the D-segment SUV category.” The teaser also features Mahindra employees, who have been instrumental in the making of this SUV. Moreover, the AV stars the voice of the legend – Amitabh Bachchan.
The new video confirms that the new Scorpio will be significantly bigger than the XUV700. The SUV gets masculine styling with flared wheel arches and multi-spoke alloy wheels. It also shows the C-shaped DRls surrounding the LED fog lamps.
The all-new Mahindra Scorpio gets the signature six-slat chrome grille, which we have already seen on the new XUV700. The teaser reveals that the new Scorpio has big bumper that has wider air-dam and prominent skid plate. The SUV gets LED projector headlamps, chrome treatment around the grille, new Mahindra logo, chromed door handles, and black plastic cladding all-around the body.
The AV also reveals that the all-new Mahindra Scorpio gets a completely re-designed rear profile, featuring a new tailgate and a completely re-designed lower bumper that accommodates brake lights, chrome treatment and silver finished skid plate.
