All-New Hyundai Creta Receives Over 10,000 Bookings in 10 Days

The long-awaited new Hyundai Creta 2020 will finally go on sale in the Indian market on March 17, 2020. Unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo, the new Creta can be booked by paying an initial token amount of Rs 25,000. The company claims that the bookings for the new Hyundai Creta 2020 have crossed the 10,000 mark in just 10 days.

The new-gen Hyundai Creta has received significant changes to the exterior and interior. Adding to it, the SUV will get new BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engines. Hyundai Creta Dual-Tone

The new Hyundai Creta will be offered in 5 trim levels – E, EX, S, SX and SX (O) – and in total of 14 variants. The SUV will be offered in 10 colour options – Mulberry Red, Typhoon Silver, Galaxy Blue, Titan Grey, Deep Forest, Polar White, Phantom Black and Lava Orange, Polar White with contrast black and Lava Orange with Contrast black.

The all-new Hyundai Creta will source the engine specs with the Kia Seltos. It will come in 3 engine options – a 115bhp, 1.5-litre petrol with CVT automatic, a 115bhp, 1.5-litre diesel with a 6-speed torque convertor and a 138bhp, 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol with a 7-speed DCT. A six-speed manual gearbox will be offered as standard. The new Creta will offer slightly higher fuel economy than the Kia Seltos. The petrol and diesel manual variants will return 16.8kmpl and 21.4kmpl respectively, while the turbo petrol with 7-speed DCT returns 16.8kmpl.

2020 Hyundai Creta Mileage

The exterior design of the new Creta is inspired by the Chinese ix25. It gets a large cascading front grille, larger LED headlamps with new boomerang-shaped daytime running lights, newly styled fog lamps, floating roof design, new 17-inch diamond cut alloys and new LED tail-lamps.

The new Creta will be offered in 2 interior colour schemes – dual-tone black and beige, and all-black. The all-black interior scheme will be offered on the top-spec SX(O) variant, which is equipped with a 1.4L turbocharged petrol engine with a 7-speed DCT unit. In terms of features, the SUV gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, multi-functional steering wheel, wireless charging, Blue Link with over 50 connected car tech, panoramic sunroof, ventilateed seats, tyre pressure monitoring, electric parking brake, etc.
