New Hero Karizma Spied

The new Hero HX200R is expected to replace the existing Karizma motorcycle.

We informed you earlier that Hero is working on an all-new 200cc motorcycle, which will be based on the Xtreme 200R. A new short video of a fully-faired motorcycle has hit the internet. The video suggests that the new motorcycle is based on the HX250R, though it is likely to share the underpinnings with the Xtreme 200R. It is expected that the new full-faired motorcycle could be called the new-generation Hero Karizma.

The video reveals that the design of the fully-faired motorcycle is inspired by the HX250R. The motorcycle spotted was devoid for any stickers or badging, though ABS sticker on the front fork and Hero badge on the side panel is quite visible. It is expected that the new model will be powered by a 199.6cc, single-cylinder engine that powers the Xtreme 200R. While powering the naked motorcycle, this engine produces 18.4bhp and 17.1Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is expected that Hero engineers will tune this engine differently, and this engine could also be the fuel-injected version that will also make its way in the XPulse.

New Hero Karizma

The new Hero motorcycle is expected to come as a replacement to the outdated Karizma ZMR. The motorcycle is fitted to conventional telescopic front forks, which we have already seen on the HX250R concept. It also gets single headlight design, which is likely to be an LED unit. Black treatment around the headlight gives it an aggressive look. Read – Hero XPulse 200T Price, Launch and Other Details

New Hero Karizma instrument console

The new Hero Karizma is fitted to a fully-digital instrument console, which is identical to the upcoming XPulse 200 and 200T. The exhaust design seems identical to the Xtreme 200R. Few media reports also claim that the new motorcycle could be called the Hero HX200R. The spotted fully-faired motorcycle seems to be in production-ready form.
