American automaker, Ford will reveal the new-generation Kuga SUV for the European market on April 2, 2019. The company has revealed the first teaser image of the Kuga SUV on the social media page. The Kuga nameplate is basically the European version of the Escape SUV in the United States. The new teaser reveals that the new model will share design cues with the new Focus. The vehicle gets the headlights, which seems all-LED technology and the boot lid design is similar to the Focus.

The testing of the new Ford Kuga has already been started in the US. The company is also working on the plug-in hybrid version of the SUV. In fact, the vehicle was spotted featuring a kilowatt gauge on the instrument cluster. The teaser reveals that the Ford Kuga interior features a rotary selector for the automatic gearbox, which is similar to the one offered in the new Focus. This suggests that the Kuga will receive the new 8-speed torque convertor automatic.
