The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS is available in two exterior colour options – Ebony Black and Spicy Red.

Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Avenger Street 160 with ABS in the country. The motorcycle is equipped with a single-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) as standard. The motorcycle is available in two exterior colour options – Ebony Black and Spicy Red. The Bajaj Avenger Street 160 ABS is priced at Rs 82,253 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The 2019 Avenger Street 160 gets a roadster design headlamp with LED daytime running lights, new body decals with larger Insignia, black alloy wheels and rubberized rear grab. Bajaj claims that the new Avenger 160 with ABS blends the ‘roadster’ and ‘cruiser’ design languages with street control handlebar, low-slung seat and alloy wheels. Commenting on the launch of the new Avenger Street 160 with ABS, Mr. Narayan Sundararaman, Vice President (Marketing) – Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto Ltd said, “As the segment leader, Bajaj Auto believes in the strategy of differentiation and category expansion. Avenger Street 160 with ABS provides contemporary styling whilst retaining its classical roadster design. The discerning customer gets a definite step-up into the world of classic biking. This will open up choices to the entry-level sports customers.”

Powering the new Bajaj Avenger Street 160 is a new 160.4cc engine that produces 15 PS of power and 13.5Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. The motorcycle will offer power to weight ratio of 103.3 PS/Ton, which is higher than the Avenger 150 (offers 90 PS/Ton). Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle gets 260mm front disc brake and 130mm rear drum brake. The motorcycle has a ground clearance of 177mm, while the wheelbase stands at 1,480mm. The motorcycle offers an upright posture with low slung seat and unique extended footrest position for improved riding comfort. In terms of proportions, the new Avenger 160 Street is 2,210mm in length, 806mm in width and 1,070mm in height and has a saddle height of 730mm. It rides on 17-inch front wheel shod with 90/90 section tyre and 15-inch rear wheel wrapped with 130/90 tubeless tyre.
