All-New Bajaj Avenger Motorcycles In The Development; Launch Details Out

Next-gen Bajaj Avenger to get a BSVI compliant engine & ABS as standard.

We informed you earlier that Bajaj will launch the next-gen Pulsar range in India in 2020. Adding to it, the company has confirmed that the Pulsar 125cc variant is not in development. What’s more interesting is that the next-gen Bajaj Avenger series is also under development. The new Avenger will be launched alongside the next-gen Pulsar in 2020.

First launched in 2005, the Avenger is the most affordable cruiser bike currently on sale in India. The company had launched the major facelift of the bikes in 2015 in the form of Street and Cruise variants. The next-gen Bajaj Avenger will receive several changes including a new engine. Speaking to Forbes India, Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director Bajaj Auto, said ” Though Pulsar has evolved nicely, it’s time for a complete refresh and an all-new Pulsar. I think in 2020 when new emission norms come, that would be a great opportunity to go to market with a product that is not only much greener but also in a new avatar. We are working on that. While details about the bike is yet to be known, but it is expected to receive major changes in the form of looks and features as well. The new Avenger is likely to receive an all-digital console, ABS, new design and LED lighting.
