A set of official images of the 2020 Hyundai i20 premium hatchback has hit the Internet. The new images reveal the exterior design of the hatchback, which is scheduled to make its global debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
Featuring all-new design, the new Hyundai i20 will take on the likes of the Volkswagen Polo, Ford Fiesta, Suzuki Baleno and others in the global markets. The hatchback gets a more aggressive front, bolder details and uniquely styled rear end.
The front looks bolder and sharper, thanks to the newly styled wider cascading grille and a sportier bumper with more pronounced air-intakes. It gets sculpted bonnet with multiple lines, rectangular-shaped headlamps with LED DRLs and triangular-shaped fog lamp housing. The rear profile is dominated by newly styled tail-lights that has ‘Z’ lighting signature. There is a thin LED strip that connects the tail-lamps. It also gets a fake rear diffuser, dual-tone bumper and roof-integrated spoiler. Also See – All-New Hyundai Creta Launching on March 17, 2020

The hatchback will have all-new dashboard design, new central console dominated by a free-floating touchscreen infotainment system and an all-digital instrument console. The new model will also receive Hyundai’s Blue Link Connected Car Technology.
The India-spec 2020 Hyundai i20 will be offered with 3 engine options – a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.0-litre T-GDI 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol and a new 1.5-litre diesel. The same engine set-up is likely to be offered with the BS6 Hyundai Venue.
For the first time, the Hyundai i20 will receive a proper N high-performance variant. It is likely to be powered by a 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that is likely to offer close to 200bhp of power.
