– New Honda Amaze
Japanese automaker, Honda introduced the new Amaze sub-4 meter sedan in the Indian car market. Based on all-new platform, the new compact sedan is longer and wider than the previous model. In fact, the wheelbase of the car has been increased by up to 65mm. The cabin design is inspired by Honda’s Man Maximum Machine Minimum philosophy, which is also the USP of this car. The sedan offers segment-leading legroom and kneeroom space for rear occupants. Though, headroom space could have been better. Despite offering spacious cabin, the new Amaze sub-4 meter sedan has a boot space of 420-litres.
– Honda WR-V
Next in the list is the Honda WR-V crossover, which is undoubtedly the most spacious car in its league. Based on the Jazz hatchback, the WRV races ahead to competition in terms of back-seat space and comfort. This model offers excellent legroom, headroom and kneeroom space for rear occupants. In fact, shoulder space is decent enough to accommodate 3 adults comfortably.
– Maruti Dzire
Dzire is one of the most spacious sub-4 meter sedans available in the market. While Amaze lacks in headroom space for rear occupants, the Dzire will keep tall owners happier. The sedan’s back-seat can accommodate three adults easily, and there is a rear AC vent as well to keep comfort in-check. The big glass area further adds to the sense of space.
– Honda Jazz
No one can beat Honda when it comes to carving out space inside the cabin. Like the WRV, the Jazz offers both excellent back-seat space and comfort. Car offers ample legroom and headroom for rear occupants, while the high-seating position gives a clear view of outside world.
– Maruti Baleno
Maruti entered into premium hatchback space with the Baleno. Based on Suzuki’s new-generation platform, the hatchback offers excellent legroom space. The rear seat is wide enough to accommodate three passengers. Though, the headroom could have been better.
– Toyota Etios
Japanese automaker, Toyota is known for offering cars with low maintenance, decent quality and spacious cabin. Etios is one such example, which is also the most affordable Toyota in India. Available in hatchback and sedan form, the Etios offers spacious cabin for both front and rear occupants. The rear seats are wide enough to accommodate 3 adults.
