A New Royal Enfield Motorcycle Caught Testing – RE Hunter 350?

Royal Enfield is currently ruling the 300-350cc motorcycle segment; however, this could change in near future. Honda Two-Wheeler and Jawa had introduced their motorcycles in this segment to rival the Royal Enfield. In order to remain stable in the segment, Royal Enfield is working on multiple new motorcycles for the Indian market.

The company has recently introduced the Meteor 350 cruiser motorcycle, which has been well received by Indian buyers. It is based on the new platform and features a brand new engine, which is appreciated for its performance. The company is now working on the next-gen Classic 350, which will source the platform and engine options with the Meteor 350.

Adding to it, Royal Enfield is testing several new motorcycles on the Indian roads. A new roadster motorcycle from the stable of RE has been spotted by folks at Motor Viketan. This motorcycle is rumoured to be called the RE Hunter 350. The spotted bike features a flatter fuel tank with smaller handlebar, and a mid-set footpegs for a sporty riding position.

The spy images also reveal that the RE Hunter 350 will ride on alloy wheels wrapped in conventional size tyres. The roadster gets an upswept exhaust, round headlamp with short front mudguard, and disc brakes. It is expected that the new motorcycle could receive a twin-pod instrument console with Tripper Navigation System. Dual channel ABS system will come as standard.

It will be powered by a new 349cc, air-cooled engine featuring a balancer shaft for reducing vibrations. The new motor churns out a maximum power of 202bhp and 27Nm of torque.
