A New Bajaj Bike Launching On 22nd November – Pulsar 150cc?

Bajaj Auto is all set to launch a new Pulsar bike on 22nd November 2022. The two-wheeler hasn’t yet revealed name and details of the upcoming model. Though, it has been testing multiple models for a while. In fact, the company trademarked nameplates including Darstar and Twinner. Speculations are on rife that the Pune-based bikemaker might introduce a new Bajaj Pulsar 150cc motorcycle. It will essentially be the updated version of the Pulsar N150 that’s spotted testing multiple times.

The new Bajaj Pulsar 150cc bike will feature a newly-designed projector headlamp with ‘Wolf-eyed’ LED DRLs. While its fuel tank extensions and engine cowl will be similar to the Pulsar LS135, the bulb-type indicators and LED taillamp will be borrowed from the new Pulsar N160. The spotted test mule had a two-piece seat, an integrated fender, chain cover and a license plate holder. The bike might be assembled with the newly-designed alloy wheels and thinner tyres. It will be based on a new chassis sourced from the Bajaj Pulsar 250s.

Official specifications of the upcoming new Bajaj Pulsar 150cc bike are still under the wraps. Though, it’s expected to be offered with a new 150cc or a 180cc, air-cooled engine. The new motor will be more powerful and refined than the existing one. Currently, the Bajaj Pulsar N150 comes with the 14PS and 13.25Nm engine. For performing suspension duties, the bike will have the telescopic fork up front and a monoshock at the rear. It will derive braking power from the disc front and rear brakes. The bike will also be available with the rear drum brake option.

Prices of the new Pulsar 150cc bike will be announced next week. It’s likely to be priced around Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), thus making it slightly more expensive than the existing Pulsar N160. The latter one costs Rs 1.03 lakh (ex-showroom).
