2020 Auto Expo is just a weeks away and auto manufacturers are ready to put their best foot forward and showcase some really exciting products. The home-grown carmaker, Tata Motors is all set to showcase a range of new models including all-new 7-seater SUV, electric vehicles, facelifts and concepts of new models. Here, we have listed the top 9 new Tata cars that might be unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo.

1. Tata Gravitas

Tata Gravitas, which is essentially the 7-seater version of the Harrier SUV, will make its debut at the 2020 Auto Expo. Compared to its 5-seater sibling, the Gravitas will be bigger and have more cabin space to offer. It will also be more powerful than the Harrier. Powering the new Tata 7-seater SUV will be a 2.0L Kryotec diesel engine delivering power worth 170bhp and 350m of torque.

2. Tata Altroz EV

The home-grown carmaker recently unveiled the Altroz hatchback that’s slated to go on sale in January, 2020. The company will also bring in its electric iteration sometime next year. The Tata Altroz EV was first previewed as a concept at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. Its production version is likely to be powered by Tata’s all-new Ziptron electric technology that will debut on the Nexon EV.

3. Tata Nexon EV

Tata Nexon EV has already been unveiled for the Indian market. The electric subcompact SUV will make its public debut at the 2020 Auto Expo. The Nexon EV will derive its power from Tata’s new Ziptron electric powertrain that consists of 30.2kW lithium-ion battery pack and a 129bhp, electric motor.

4. Tata Blackbird Concept

Tata Motors is planning to foray into the premium 5-seater SUV segment with an all-new model that’s reported to be named – Tata Blackbird. Reports suggest that the carmaker will use the China-spec Chery Tiggo 5X as the benchmark for its new compact SUV. The company might showcase the concept form of the Blackbird at the 2020 Auto Expo.

5. Tata H2X

The Tata H2X mini SUV concept, which was first previewed at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, might make its India debut at the 2020 Auto Expo. The carmaker might showcase the near production version of the mini SUV. Similar to Tata’s new breed car, the Tata H2X will feature the brand’s new Impact 2.0 Design philosophy.

6. Tata E-Vision Concept

Tata E-Vision sedan concept was first unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The company might put up the same concept model at the upcoming 2020 Auto Expo. Based on the Omega Arc platform, the E-Vision electric sedan is claimed to deliver a top speed of 200kmph. It can do 0 to 100kmph in less than 7 seconds.

7. 2020 Tata Nexon Facelift

2020 Tata Nexon facelift might also make its debut at the 2020 Auto Expo. The updated version will witness minor cosmetic changes inspired by the new Nexon EV. The subcompact SUV will also come with a pack of new comfort and safety features. Powering the Nexon facelift will be the BS6-compliant version of the existing 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel engine with a 6-speed manual and an AMT gearbox options.

8. 2020 Tata Tiago Facelift

The carmaker might also showcase the facelifted Tiago hatchback at the biennial event. The 2020 Tata Tiago facelift will share some of its design bits and features with the upcoming Altroz hatchback. The updated model is likely to be offered with BS6-compliant 1.2L Revotron petrol engine only.

9. 2020 Tata Tigor Facelift

The 2020 Tata Tigor facelift could also be among the new Tata cars that will be showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. The subcompact sedan will receive subtle design changes and feature upgrades. Similar to the Tiago facelift, it could be offered with the BS6-ready 1.2L petrol engine only.
