Maruti Suzuki has recently released the teaser image of the upcoming Suzuki XL6 MPV. Now, the company has released new teaser images of the Maruti XL6. The new teaser shots reveal the interior and other key details. It is scheduled to be launched in our market on August 21, 2019.

Based on the regular Ertiga MPV, the new Maruti Suzuki XL6 receives significant changes. Up front is a new LED headlights, re-styled bonnet and a larger honeycomb-design grille. There is a large chrome bar with big Suzuki logo at the centre runs across the width to merge into the LED daytime running lights. It also gets new bumper that accommodates wider air-intakes, plastic cladding and skid plate.

The teaser image shows that the interior of the new XL6 looks largely identical to that of the regular Ertiga. The dashboard design remains the same, but it comes with brushed aluminium finish along with piano black inserts. It will also receive the Suzuki’s new SmartPlay Studio infotainment system, which is compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and navigation. Instead of the bench-type second row, it gets individual captain seats with armrest. Other changes include leather upholstery and all-black interior colour scheme. Under the hood is a BSVI compliant 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine with SHVS mild hybrid system. This engine produces 103bhp of power and 138Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic. This six-seater Maruti Suzuki XL6 will be sold exclusively via the Nexa premium sales and service outlets.
