5,000 Kabira KM3000, KM4000 Electric Bikes Sold Out In 4 Days

Kabira Mobility has confirmed that the first batch of its newly-launched KM3000 and KM4000 electric motorcycles has been sold out in just 4 days. The initial batch included 5,000 units. The Kabira KM400, which is claimed to be India’s fastest electric bike, costs Rs 1,36,990. The Kabira KM3000 has been priced at Rs 1,26,990.

For power, the Kabira KM4000 uses a 4.4kWh battery and an 8kW motor that’s claimed to offer a range of 150km in Eco mode and 90km in Sport mode. It can attain a top speed of 120kmph and accelerate 0 to 40kmph in 3.3 seconds. The Kabira KM3000 comes equipped with a 4kWh battery pack and a 6kWh BLDC (brushless DC electric motor) motor.

The bikemaker says it offers an electric range of 120km in Eco mode and 60km in Sport mode. The KM3000 offers a maximum speed of 100kmph and is capable to do 0 to 40kmh in 3.3 seconds.  The battery packs can be fully charged in 6 hours 30 minutes via Eco charge and up to 80 percent in 2 hours 50 minutes via Eco charge and 50 minutes via Boost charge.

Braking system of both models consists of single rear disc brakes along with the CBS (Combi Braking system). While the Kabira KM3000 has been equipped with single disc brake upfront, the Kabira KM4000 has dual disc brake at the front axle. Dimensionally, the Kabira KM3000 measures 2100mm in length, 760mm in width and 1200mm in height. Its wheelbase and ground clearance stand at 1430mm and 170mm respectively. The bike has a seat height of 830mm and carries a kerb weight of 138kgs.

The overall length, width and height of the Kabira KM4000 stand at 2050mm, 740mm and 1280mm respectively. The electric bike sits on 1280mm of wheelbase and has a ground clearance of 200mm. The electric motorcycle has a kerb weight of 147kg and offers a seat height of 800mm.
