Ola Electric recently updated its S1 and S1 Air electric scooter model lineup with addition of new variants. Both are now available in three variants featuring different battery size and offering different range and top speed. While the updated S1 Air costs from Rs 84,999, prices of the S1 range start at Rs 99,999. Besides this, the EV maker has teased its five new Ola electric bikes including an adventure, a cruiser, a supersport, scrambler and a commuter e-bike.
As of now, details of the new Ola electric bikes are now available. Though, the teaser shows the models are in their concept stage. The company hasn’t even revealed their launch timeline. Looking at the teaser image, one can notice an adventure bike sporting Adventure insignia and knuckle guards. The sportbike seems to carry a futuristic design language with a wide LED headlamp and fat tyres.
Currently, Ola Electric has 200 experience centres across India. At the recently held product launch event, CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said that the company will open 500 centers across the country by March 2023. The EV maker recently launched a special ‘Love on 2 Wheels’ campaign under which it’s offering multiple discounts offers, cashback and exchange bonus with the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters.
Customers can avail benefits of up to Rs 12,000 on the S1 Pro along with an exchange bonus of up to Rs 4,000. The e-scooter can also be purchased at zero down payment with a monthly EMI of Rs 2,499. Under its special ‘Love on 2 Wheels’, the company is providing the lowest interest rates starting at 8.99 percent with zero processing fee and additional discounts on select credit cards. The Ola buyers can also access the Ola hypercharger network at free of cost for a year. Additionally, there is a 50 percent discount (costs Rs 1500) on Ola Care and network service subscription plans for both S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters.
