Tata Motors is all set to launch 4 new models in India tomorrow (22nd January, 2020). The lineup includes the all-new Tata Altroz premium hatchback and facelifted Tiago hatchback, Tigor subcompact sedan and Nexon subcompact SUV. Official bookings of all models have already been commenced across the country.
Talking about the Tata Altroz, the premium hatchback made its debut on 3rd December and recently scored the top safety rating in the Global NCAP. The vehicle will be offered with two BS6-compliant engine options – a 86bhp, 1.2L petrol and a 90bhp, 1.5L diesel.
Transmission duties will be performed by a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Altroz will be put up against the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai Elite i20. Its prices are likely to start from Rs 5.50 lakh and go up to Rs 8.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
The next big launch from Tata will be the Nexon facelift that will share some of its styling elements with the Nexon EV. The updated model will witness subtle cosmetic changes along with a pack of new features.
The 2020 Tata Nexon facelift will also come with the BS6-compliant version of the 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel engines with the 6-speed manual and AMT gearbox options. The new Nexon is expected to be priced from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).

While the Tiago hatchback facelift is estimated to cost between Rs 5 lakh to Rs 7 lakh, the facelifted Tigor could be priced from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom).
