3 Upcoming New Royal Enfield 650cc Bikes – All Details

Royal Enfield recently introduced the Hunter 350 bike in Retro, Metro and Metro Rebel variants priced at Rs 1.49 lakh, Rs 1.63 lakh and Rs 1.68 lakh respectively. It’s the most affordable offering from Chennai-based two-wheeler maker in the country. Now, the company seems to roll out the new-generation RE Bullet 350 in the coming months. Besides this, RE has planned three new 650cc motorcycles, which are reported to arrive sometime next year. Here’s a brief on the upcoming Royal Enfield 650cc bikes.

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 was recently spotted in its final production version. The model carries retro-styled circular headlamp, chromed crash guards and a large windshield at the front end. It also features alloy wheels with road-biased tyres, a fatter rear fender, forward footpegs and a low slung. At the back, the bike has a twin pipe exhaust system, round taillamp and turn indicators. In terms of features, the Super Meteor 650 will offer a semi digital instrument cluster and a smaller pad for the Tripper navigation. The upcoming RE Shotgun is surely one of the much-awaited new Royal Enfield 650cc bikes. It’s essentially the production version of the RE SG650 Concept bobber that broke cover at the 2021 EICMA. The bike has a round halogen headlamp, halogen turn indicators and split seats. There are pea-shooter exhausts with black finish and fenders as we have seen in a typical bobber. Features like a semi digital, twin-pod instrument cluster and a smaller pad for Tripper turn-by-turn navigation might also be on offer. The new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 will share its platform, engine, suspension and braking mechanism with the RE Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. More details here…

The Chennai-based bike maker is reported working on a new 650cc scrambler that was recently caught testing in the UK. The model appears like a road biased scrambler that’s likely to share its underpinning, components and engine with the RE 650cc twins. The test mule features a newly-designed headlamp, a ribbed one-piece banana seat, scrambler styled side-cowls, commuter style grab rail and shorter rear fender. One of the major highlights of the bike is a new exhaust routing.
