3 New Tata Electric Cars Ready For Launch – Hatchback, Sedan, SUV

Talking about electric vehicles, the Tata Nexon EV has been generating volume for the home-grown automaker since its launch. The electric subcompact SUV will soon receive a mid-life update and come with a bigger battery, improved range and styling. The carmaker will also bring in the long-range version of the Tata Tiago EV in coming months. The recent sighting of the Tata Altroz EV also hints that the model is ready for launch. India’s top-selling electric car – Tata Nexon EV – is all set to receive its first mid-life updated in coming weeks. Its official launch date, however, is yet to be announced. This time around, the model will come with a larger 40kWh battery pack offering a range of over 400km on a single charge. The existing 30.3kWh battery pack will also continue to be on offer. It might also get selectable regeneration modes along with cruise control, electronic stability control, park mode, ventilated seats and park mode. A few noticeable changes will be made its exterior as well.

2022 Tata Tigor EV Range

Tata has been testing the Tigor EV for a while. If reports are to be believed, the electric sedan is likely to come with the bigger batter pack offering longer range. In order to fit-in the larger battery, the automaker might make some changes to its floor pan. Its suspension setup might also be updated that’s expected to increase its ground clearance and overall weight. Powertrain details of the new 2022 Tata Tigor EV are yet to be revealed.

Tata Altroz EV

Tata Altroz EV India Launch

Reports suggest that the Tata Altroz EV will soon a see a release in India. While the technical specifications of the electric hatchback are still under the wraps, the model is likely to share its powertrain with the Nexon EV. The carmaker might introduce the Altroz EV with its updated Ziptron electric technology that will debut on the long-range Nexon EV. Most of its design bits are likely to be similar to its concept that broke cover at the 2020 Auto Expo.
