3 New Ford Bronco Versions To Be Unveiled On July 13

We informed you earlier that the much-awaited Ford Bronco will make global debut on July 13, 2020. The new model has been spotted multiple times during its test rounds. Ford has now released a new image, which shows that 3 different versions of the Bronco family will be unveiled on next Monday, July 13.

The image shows the side profile of 3 different models of the new Ford Bronco range. The company will showcase the two and four-door variants of the Bronco along with the Bronco Sport. The Bronco Sport will be based on the different platform (sharing platform with Ford Escape). All 3 models will come with standard all-wheel drive system.

The company has also said that the Bronco will be more than the product name, but it will be a sub-brand within Ford. Kumar Galhotra, Ford’s president for the American and International markets said, “Rugged cars are our tradition and we are seeing strong growth opportunities in this increasingly popular segment”.

“The Bronco brand meets this demand by creating a family of off-road vehicles -road really capable of taking our customers to the wildest places. We take advantage of our extensive off-road experience with vehicles like the F-150 Raptor to ensure that each Bronco delivers the strength and durability that our customers expect”, he further added.

Ford recalls the Bronco’s past, as it was used in more than 1,200 films and 200 songs. The new Broonco was planned to be unveiled at the 2020 New York Motor Show in March. The upcoming Ford Bronco will be positioned against the popular Jeep Wrangler. It will be based on a body on a chassis instead of a monoblock construction. The new Bronco is likely to come with 2 engine options – a 273bhp, 2.3L EcoBoost and a 329bhp, 2.7-litre V6 biturbo engine.

The Ford Bronco Sport will be the most affordable in the Bronco range. To be based on the Ford Escape platform, the Bronco Sport will directly rival the Jeep Compass. It will be launched in the American market in the second half of this year, while the Bronco will go on sale in early 2021. The upcoming Ford Bronco Sport is expected to share the engine options with the Escape, which includes 150bhp, 1.5-litre EcoBoost and a 250bhp, 2.5-litre EcoBoost.
