3 BMW, 2 Mercedes Cars Launching In December – Key Details

In December 2022, we will witness multiple new car launches across different segments including 6 luxury cars. Mercedes-Benz India is all set to roll out the new GLB 7-seater SUV and EQB electric SUV on 2nd December. The German carmaker manufacturer, BMW will bring in its first M model – XM, updated X7 and M340i on 10th December. Here’re key details of the upcoming new BMW and Mercedes cars.

2023 Mercedes Benz GLB Price

The 2023 Mercedes GLB SUV will be made available in three variants, namely, GLB 200, GLB 220d and GLB 220d 4Matic. While the entry-level GLB 200 petrol will use the 163bhp, 1.3L turbo petrol motor with a 7-speed automatic gearbox, the GLB 220d and 220d 4Matic will come with the 190bhp, 2.0L motor with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The SUV will have a dual 10.25-inch infotainment system, voice commands, sliding second-row seats and a panoramic sunroof.

Globally, the new Mercedes EQB electric SUV is offered in 300 4Matic and 350 4Matic variants, powered by 228bhp/390Nm and 292bhp/520Nm dual-motor. Here, the company will introduce the 300 4Matic variant only.

2023 BMW X7 Price

As mentioned above, the BMW XM will be the brand’s first M model in India. The SUV has a plug-in hybrid V8 powertrain delivering power worth 653bhp and 800Nm. Transmission duties are done by an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The 2023 BMW X7 SUV will receive noticeable changes inside and out. It will feature a newly-designed split headlamps, BMW’s new curved infotainment system featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The India-spec X7 will be available in xDrive 40i and xDrive 30d variants powered by a 380bhp, 6-cylinder petrol and a 352bhp, 6-cylinder diesel engine respectively. Both motors will be boosted with the 48V mild hybrid tech. The new 2023 BMW M340i is likely to witness minor design changes and feature upgrades. Powering the model will be the same 3.0L, 6-cylinder turbo petrol engine making 387bhp and 500Nm.
