3 All-New TVS Bikes To Launch In Next 2 Years

TVS Motor Company recently upgraded its entire model lineup to comply the BS6 emission norms. Alongside, the Chennai-based bikemaker acquired the iconic British motorcycle brand – Norton. With the acquisition, the company is planning to expand its footprints in global markets.  It will also help TVS to challenge Royal Enfield in niche segment of old-school classic motorcycles in the country. Here’re the top 3 upcoming TVS motorcycles that might hit our shores in the next 2 years.

1. TVS Zeppelin

TVS Zeppelin

TVS Zeppelin cruiser, which was first showcased in its concept form at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo, is surely one of the much-awaited upcoming TVS motorcycle in the country. While there is no official launch timeline, it’s expected to see a release sometime next year. The cruiser’s concept was powered by a 220cc, single-cylinder engine with a 1,200 watt regenerative assist motor and a 48V lithium-ion battery. If its production model comes with the same powertrain, it will become India’s first motorcycle to feature mild hybrid technology.

2. New TVS-BMW Bike

Reports suggest that the Chennai-based bikemaker will bring in an all-new motorcycle under its TVS-BMW JV sometime in 2021. The new TVS-BMW bike is likely to be offered with a twin-cylinder engine with displacement ranging from 500cc – 650cc. It will share its platform with the BMW G310 series motorcycle. More details on the new upcoming TVS motorcycle are likely to be revealed in near future.

3. TVS Creon

TVS Creon Electric

The TVS Creon electric scooter concept made its debut alongside the Zeppelin at the 2018 Auto Expo. Its production version is expected to hit roads sometime 2021 or 2022. Once launched, it will be positioned against the Bajaj Chetak that costs Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). The scooter concept was equipped with 3-state-of-the-art Lithium-ion batteries delivering an instant power of 12kW. It offers a range of 80km and is able to accelerate from 0 to 60kmph in less than 5.1 seconds.

Expected Price – Rs 70,000 lakh
