22Kymco iFlow, Like 200 & X-Twon 300i Scooters Launched In India
22Kymco has introduced two petrol scooters (Like200 and X-Town 300i) and an electric scooter (iFlow).
Indian electric scooter startup, 22 Motors recently entered into a partnership with Taiwan based two-wheeler maker – Kymco (Kwang Yang Motor) – to provide premium electric mobility solutions in the country. With this alliance, Kymco has marked its entry in the Indian two-wheeler market. The company has launched three new models including two petrol scooters (Like200 and X-Town 300i ABS) and an electric scooter (iFlow).
While the petrol-powered Kymco Like 200 and X-Town 300i ABS are priced at Rs 1.30 lakh and Rs 2.30 lakh respectively, the all-electric Kymco iFlow comes with a price tag of Rs 90,000. All prices are on-road, Delhi. The Taiwanese two-wheeler maker also announced its new manufacturing facility for 22Kymco with annual production capacity of 200,000 units in Bhiwadi, Haryana.

Kymco aims to expand its business in phased manner. Initially, the company will focus on 6 cities – New Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmadabad and Hyderabad. It will also open 14 Ionex charging facilities in NCR for its iFlow electric scooter. In the next three years, Kymco plans to strengthen its dealership network with 300 outlets.
The 22Kymco iFlow has two waterproof, lightweight batteries and one can get the new battery at their nearest Ionex charging station. One must note that the batteries will be provided on rental basis and are not included in the scooter’s price.
Ionex is the company’s cloud-connected, smart-energy solution that has portable high performance batteries. These batteries provide a combined range of 160km and can be charged up to 70% in an hour. While the 22Kymco Like200 is a retro-styled for the daily commuting purpose, the 22Kymco X-Town 300i ABS is a maxi scooter for the long-haul ride.
