Tata Motors has begun testing the updated Harrier SUV model in the country. While its official launch timeline is yet to be revealed, the model is reported to hit showrooms sometime next year. This time around, the carmaker will make significant changes to its exterior and interior. If it happens, the new Harrier will become the brand’s first passenger vehicle to feature ADAS suite. It might include features such as lane departure warning system, blind spot assist, collision mitigation system, adaptive cruise control, automatic traction control, departure warning system, electronic stability control, hill start aid and more.
The new 2023 Tata Harrier facelift could also be packed with a 360 degree surround view camera. The SUV might get a larger and updated touchscreen infotainment system. The unit is likely to support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

The spy images reveal that most of the cosmetic updates will be made at the front end. The new 2023 Tata Harrier facelift will feature newly-designed LED headlamps with LED DLRs. The front grille and air dam with horizontal slats and integrated radar will also be updated. The SUV might come with the new set of alloy wheels. While the rear bumper will be revised, the LED taillamps remain unchanged.
Under the hood, the new Tata Harrier 2023 will continue to house the 2.0L diesel engine that’s good for 170bhp and 350Nm. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer. Denying the rumours of Harrier petrol model, Rajan Amba, Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Customer Care at Tata Motors has revealed that the company isn’t focusing on the petrol variants of the Harrier and Safari SUVs.
