The updated 2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 have been launched in India. Both bikes come with the alloy wheels and new colour options. Prices of the new Interceptor 650 range between Rs 3.03 lakh – Rs 3.31 lakh, which are nearly Rs 16,000 more than its previous version.
The updated Continental GT 650 is available within the price range of Rs 3.19 lakh – Rs 3.45 lakh, thus making it around Rs 14,000 more expensive than before. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom. Both bikes continue to come with the 648cc parallel-twin engine that’s good enough for 47.5bhp and 52Nm.
2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650
The bike’s updated version features LED headlamp (borrowed from the Super Meteor 650) instead of the old halogen reflector unit. Its new aluminium switch cubes have also been sourced from the Super Meteor. Read – Upcoming Royal Enfield 350cc Bikes
The updated RE Interceptor 650 gets alloy wheels in two new colour options, Black Ray and Barcelona Blue, along with the regular five shades. The bike comes with the same Ceat tyres. On the feature front, the new Interceptor offers a USB charging port placed on the left handlebar.
2023 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650
As mentioned above, the base variant of the new Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 costs Rs 3.19 lakh and the range-topping Mr. Clean chrome model with wire-spoke wheels is priced at Rs 3.45 lakh. The bike’s alloy wheel version is being offered at Rs 3.39 lakh. The updated RE Continental GT 650 has ditched the halogen reflector headlamp with the new LED unit. Similar to the new Interceptor, the 2023 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 sources new switchgears from the Super Meteor.
Major upgrade comes in the form of the alloy wheels, which are now available in two new colours – Slipstream Blue and Apex Grey. Unlike its 650cc sibling, the Continental GT gets new Vredestein tyres replacing the old Ceat units. The bike has also been equipped with a USB charging port.
