2023 Mahindra XUV300 Sportz Leaked Ahead Of October 7 Launch

Mahindra has recently unveiled the XUV400 electric SUV, which is scheduled to be launched in January 2023. The company is also preparing the new 2023 Mahindra XUV300 Sportz, which is scheduled to be launched on October 7, 2022. Ahead of the official launch, the production-ready XUV300 Sportz – the sportier variant of the SUV has been leaked on the Internet.

The 2023 Mahindra XUV300 Sportz variant will be the top-spec model in the XUV300 lineup. The new model will come with gloss black finish on the grille, outside rear view mirrors and roof. The spotted model has red stripes on the air dam and ‘Twin Peaks’ logo. It is finished in a new mustard exterior paint. The new variant will run on the same 16-inch dual-tone wheels; however, the concept unveiled at Auto Expo 2022 was equipped with 17-inch wheels.

The 2023 Mahindra XUV300 Sportz variant is also expected to receive some changes to compliment the sportier exterior. It is likely to come with all-black interior with contrasting red inserts. The new model is likely to be equipped with features like dual-zone climate control, electric sunroof, cruise control, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, rain-sensing wipers, six airbags, all-4 disc brakes and front & rear parking sensors.

It will be powered by a more powerful 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine that is capable of producing 130PS and 230Nm of torque. This is 10PS and 30Nm more than its current iteration of the 1.2L turbo petrol. A six-speed manual gearbox driving the power to the front wheels will come as standard.

The report claims that the new Mahindra XUV300 TGDI Sportz variant could be around Rs 50,000 expensive than the regular corresponding petrol-powered variants. It is likely to be priced around Rs 12 lakh. The new model will rival the likes of the Hyundai Venue N Line, which is the sportier version of the Venue compact SUV.
