2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift – 4 Things We Know So Far

The second-generation Hyundai Grand i10 was introduced as Grand i10 Nios in August 2019. Now, the company is planning to give a mid-life update to its entry-level hatchback sometime next year. In fact, the automaker has started testing the new model that was recently caught on camera. Details of the new 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift are yet to be revealed. Here’re 4 key facts we know so far about the hatchback’s updated model.

Minor Design Changes

The spy images reveal that the minimal changes will be made to its exterior. The hatchback is likely to feature slightly revised front grille, updated headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, new taillamps and rear bumper. The existing set of wheels are expected to be replaced with the newly-designed dual-tone alloy wheels. The carmaker might offer new colour schemes as well.

Interior of the new 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift is still a mystery to us. Though, we expect the cabin layout will remain intact. Hyundai is likely to equip the new Nios with a bunch of advanced features along with new upholstery and interior theme. It will also continue to offer an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the smartphone connectivity, a 5.3-inch semi digital multi information display, wireless charging, Arkamys premium sound system, automatic climate control with eco coating, adjustable rear headrests, push button start/stop system, leather wrapped steering wheel and more.

Same Engine Setup

Powertrains will be carried forward from the existing model. The new Grand i10 Nios is likely to come with the same 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol (83bhp/114Nm), 1.0L turbo petrol (110bhp/172Nm) and 1.2L petrol CNG fuel (69bhp/95Nm) options. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT unit.

Expected Price

The new 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift is expected to witness a minor price hike with a few updates inside and out. At present, the hatchback model lineup comes within the price range of Rs 5.43 lakh – Rs 8.51 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
