2022 Renault Duster Facelift – Key Features In 8 Quick Points

The 2022 Dacia Duster facelift has been unveiled for global markets. One must note that Dacia is owned by Renault and both the brands sell same products with their badges in different markets. It’s the second-generation Duster (which isn’t available in India) that received the mid-life update. If reports are to be believed, the French carmaker is planning the third-generation Duster for the Indian market. Talking about the 2022 Renault Duster facelift, the model has witnessed noticeable design changes and feature upgrades.

Most of the cosmetic updates have been made at the front end. The compact SUV features a chrome grille and newly-designed Y-shaped headlamps. The front indicators with LED elements are said to be more efficient. The front and rear bumpers have also been revised.

Its new 15 and 16-inch aero-optimized wheels along with the new wheel bearings, tyres and spoiler designs are claimed to reduce to its CO2 emissions by 5.8/km. One must note that it’s for the 4WD (four-wheel drive) model.

The redesigned centre console offers a small storage area. In order to enhance its feel and appeal, the carmaker uses new material.

2022 Renault Duster Interior

Features such as automatic climate control system and heated front seats are reserved for the top-end trims.

On the safety front, it provides a blind-spot monitoring system, parking sensors and multiview camera.

Globally, the new Dacia Duster facelift (Renault Duster 2022) will continue to be offered with multiple engine options including 1.5L turbo diesel, 1.0L petrol, 1.3L petrol and 1.5L petrol and 1.0L bi-fuel (petrol/LPG).

Prices of the updated Duster are expected to be more or less similar to the current model that costs from £12,500 onwards. In global markets, it will face challenge from Skoda Karoq, Seat Ateca and Renault Kadjar.
