It’s the same motor that does duty in the newly-launched Maruti Ertiga. It’s power and torque outputs stand at 103bhp and 136.8Nm respectively.

If reports are to be believed, the new 2022 Maruti XL6 will come in Zeta, Alpha and a new, top-spec Alpha Plus trims. There will be six exterior colour options to choose from including Grandeur Grey, Celestial Blue, Arctic White, Brave Khaki, Splendid Silver and Opulent Red. One must note that the Red, Khaki and Silver paint schemes will also be available with Black roof. Though, the dual-tone shades will be reserved for the range-topping Alpha Plus trim.

Feature-wise, the new XL6 facelift will have more to offer. One of the major update will come in the form of a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SmartPlay studio supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Similar to the new Ertiga, the premium MPV will receive the in-built Suzuki Connect telematics. Features such as a 360 degree camera, ventilated seats and a tyre pressure monitoring system will also be on-board.
