Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the new Ertiga facelift in the Indian market on March 15, 2022. After introducing the new Ertiga, MSIL will launch the new Suzuki XL6 facelift on March 21, 2022. Interested buyers can pre-book the new 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 online or at authorised NEXA dealership at a token amount of Rs 11,000.
MSIL has released the first teaser video of the new XL6 facelift with a tagline – “A new way to indulge is coming”. The teaser hasn’t released much about the design changes, however, spy images reveal that the 3-row Crossover-MPV will receive design changes. The MPV will receive a few noticeable changes inside and out.
The biggest change will be made under the hood. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift will be powered by a new 1.5-litre K15C dualjet petrol engine instead of the current K15B motor. Moreover, it will receive a new 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The new engine will first introduce in the new Ertiga facelift and will also power the new Brezza and the Ciaz.
The new 1.5L K15C petrol engine is reportedly to produce around 115bhp, thus making the crossover-MPV 10bhp more powerful than before. The powertrain will come with the integrated starter generator and auto start stop system. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The new MPV will comply with the upcoming CAFE 2 norms that will be implemented in April 2022.
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift will come with design changes in the form of newly-designed front grille, revised from bumpers and updated lighting system. It is also likely to receive new alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, the 2022 Maruti XL6 is expected to get a bigger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, new upholstery for seats, wireless phone charging, automatic air conditioning, revised aircon vents and others.
