The long-awaited 2022 Maruti Brezza is all set to launch in the market in the next few days. In fact, the SUV has been caught during its official TVC shoot. The new model will come with all-new design, a more premium interior and several segment-leading features.
The 2022 Maruti Brezza will come with significantly revised design; however, it will retain the overall silhouette of the current model. At the time of the launch, the new Maruti Brezza will rival the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300 and others.
The leaked spy images reveal that the 2022 Maruti Brezza will get the all-new front fascia, featuring an all-new bumper with a faux silver skid plate, new headlamp setup with dual J-shaped DRLs. It comes with a newly styled chromed grille and a new, smaller housing for the front fog lamps.
The side profile looks largely identical to the outgoing model; however, it now has prominent & beefier squared-off wheel arches. There’s black plastic cladding running across the lower part of the side profile.
The SUV also gets a completely re-designed rear profile, featuring a new tailgate with limited creases & curves, slim wrap-around tail-lamps and a newly designed lower bumper. It also gets a silver skid plate. The SUV also has a re-designed dual-tone alloy wheels. It features silver roof rails, while the size of the rear quarter glass has also been increased. The SUV will also come with dual-tone colour scheme including red & black roof, and blue with black roof.
In terms of features, the 2022 Maruti Brezza will come with a factory-fitted sunroof, a 360 degree camera, wireless phone charging, new flat-bottom steering wheel, a new instrument console, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, voice commands, an e-SIM based connected car suite, Heads-Up Display, etc. The new model is reportedly to feature 6 airbags, hill hold assist, TPMs, ABS with EBD, traction control and others as safety features.
The new Brezza will be powered by the new 1.5-litre K15C NA petrol engine that produces 103bhp and 137Nm. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. With the generation change, the subcompact SUV is likely to receive CNG variant.
