The next generation 2022 Mahindra Scorpio will be launched in the first half of 2022. The new model has already been spotted testing multiple times. A new set of spyshots reveal that the new Scorpio will come with multiple modern comfort and convenience features.
The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio SUV will come equipped with a roof-mounted speakers, which is similar to the one offered in the second generation Thar. It also reveals the clear view of the electric sunroof of the new Scorpio. The spotted model has brown color leatherette upholstery with orange stitching.
The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio has all-new cabin with a newly designed dashboard. The central tunnel sits higher than the conventional position. It also features storage space on the driver’s side. The new model is equipped with several features such as dual-zone climate control, a large touchscreen infotainment system, a new flat-bottom leather-wrapped steering wheel, and cruise control.
The SUV gets a twin-pod analogue instrument panel with a MID and a switchgears below the climate control. The switchgears are sourced from the second generation Mahindra Thar. In terms of features, the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio gets all-LED lighting system, wireless charging, drive and traction control modes, automatic headlamps, automatic wipers and AC vents for all three rows.
For safety and security, the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio will get multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, hill assist control, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), rear parking camera and a rear parking sensors. The new Mahindra Scorpio will be offered with two engine options – a 2.0L turbocharged petrol with power output close to 150bhp, and a 2.2L turbo-diesel engine with close to 158bhp power. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The SUV will get AWD or 4×4 option.
