Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to announce prices of the all-new Scorpio-N SUV today (27th June 2022). Ahead of its price announcement, the carmaker has revealed the entire design and feature details of the vehicle. The video features Pratap Bose, Mahindra’s Chief Designer, explaining its exterior, interior and why it’s called “the Big Daddy of SUVs”. The new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N will be the brand’s second production model to carry its new signature Twin Peaks badge. He said that the new Scorpio takes “exterior, interior and tech to an exponential level, to the power of N”.
Upfront, the SUV features the double barrel headlamps with LED DRLs, newly-designed grille with the signature logo with chrome slats, long bonnet and fog lamp assembly. Its beefy wheel arches are said to take inspiration from the sinewy shoulder of a swimmer.

Interior of the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N has been packed with lots of advanced goodies including the Adrenox infotainment system integrated on the metal finish dual-tone dashboard. The unit supports the latest smartphone connectivity and Alexa power. It has coffee-black leather upholstery with contoured seats offering “great thigh support”.
The SUV’s other key features include a Sony-sourced 12 speaker audio system with 3D sound staging, dual zone climate control, connected car tech, wireless charger, an electric sunroof, a semi digital instrument cluster, electrically adjustable driver seat with lumber support, ventilated front seats, height adjustable seat belts and more.
Compared to the Scorpio Classic, the all-new Mahindra Scorpio-N has more safety fitments including a 360 degree camera, hill descent control, tyre pressure monitoring system, traction control, 6 airbags and more. The overall length, width and height of the SUV stand at 4662mm, 1917mm and 1857mm respectively. It has a wheelbase of 2780mm.

The new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio will be made available with the 2.0L mStallion turbo petrol and 2.2L mHawk turbo diesel engine options. The petrol unit makes 200PS with 370Nm (MT)/380Nm (AT). The diesel motor, on the other hand, delivers 132PS with 300Nm and 175PS with 370Nm (MT)/400Nm (AT) on the lower and higher variants respectively. The SUV will come with both RWD and AWD (only on the diesel variants) system options. The new Scorpio-N’s 4X4 variant has been named 4Xplorer.
