Hyundai Creta, India’s top-selling mid-size SUV, entered into its second generation in March 2020. The model has been doing phenomenal in terms of sales for the South Korean automaker. In order to keep up the sales momentum, the company is planning to give a mid-life update to the Creta towards the end of 2022. In fact, its test mule was recently caught on camera during its test rounds in the country. Here’re 5 key details we know so far about the new 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift.

Tucson Inspired Design

The front fascia of the new Hyundai Creta 2022 will be revised comprehensively. The spy images suggest that the updated model will take design inspiration from the fourth-generation Tucson that broke cover in September last year. That means, the new Creta will carry Hyundai’s Sensuous Sportiness design language and feature a parametric grille.

The projector headlamps and LED DRLs will have dark finish. The front bumper, fog lamp assembly and faux skid plate will also be revised.

The Creta facelift might also come with the newly-designed alloy wheels and spilt taillamps.
