Japanese two-wheeler automaker, Honda is all set to launch a new version of its popular scooter – the Honda Activa. Called the new Honda Activa Premium, the new scooter has been teased on the brand’s social media platforms. It was speculated to be the Activa 7G; however, the teaser confirms that the new model could be the ‘Premium’ variant of the Activa 6G.
The silhouette and the lighting system of the Activa Premium scooter looks similar to the Honda Activa 6G. The front apron has faux vents, which comes with gold-coloured embellishments on top. Also on offer is a gold treatment on the badging as well. The Honda Activa Premium is also expected to receive a set of new colours including Matte Green.
In fact, the Honda Activa Premium features steel wheels similar to the standard 6G scooter. It is yet to be revealed that the new variant could come with alloy wheels. Honda could also add Bluetooth connectivity feature in the Activa Premium, as its direct rivals including the Hero Pleasure gets this feature.
It will be powered by the same BS6-compliant 109.51cc, single-cylinder engine boosted with fuel injection technology. This engine is capable of producing 7.79bhp at 8,000rpm and 8.79Nm at 5,250rpm.
