Compared to the previous model, the facelifted version is around Rs 60,000 – Rs 70,000 more expensive. The carmaker says that the new Innova Crysta presents “a bold design and practicality of an MPV elevating its unique personality”.

Visually, the new Toyota Innova Crysta 2021 appears refreshing with bold trapezoidal Piano black grille with chrome surround and sharper front bumper design. The higher trims get LED fog lamps. The MPV also receives newly-designed 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. The updated model can also be had in a new Sparkling Black Crystal Shine colour scheme along with the regular shades.
The fully-loaded ZX trim is exclusively offered with new Camel tan colour upholstery. You also get a new and larger Smart Playcast touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There are dedicated buttons for volume control and other operations. The MPV also comes with connectivity features such as rear-time vehicle tracking, last parked location, geofencing and more.

The 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta facelift offers front clearance sonar with MID display that prevents collisions while parking in tight spaces and provides safe driving. Things remain unchanged under the hood. The new Toyota Innova Crysta 2021 comes with the same 2.7L petrol and 2.4L diesel engines. While the former makes 166bhp, the latter is good enough for 150bhp. Both engines can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
