Customers can purchase the new Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo variant as an optional accessory package.
Toyota has recently launched the new Fortuner facelift in Thailand. The new model is only available in the G and V trims, and the Legender serve as a new top-end model. The company hasn’t introduced the popular Fortuner TRD SPORTIVO variant. However, customers can buy the TRD Sportivo variant by opting for a package of official accessories from Toyota.
The official accessory package is only available with the regular Toyota Fortuner facelift, but not for the Fortuner Legender. However, there are some accessories that can also be fitted to the Legender. The new accessories have the TRD Sportivo logo. The Fortuner badge is offered on the end of the hood, while chrome treatment will be added to the front and rear skid plates as well as additional chrome embellishments on the bumper. Customers can also purchase side body molding and side stickers with TRD Sportivo graphics. TRD logo is placed on the fuel cap, trunk door and on the chrome muffler, while the door edge and corner protector are also on offer.
Chrome treatment can also be added on the door handle, roof rack and on the rear view mirror. It also gets hydraulic bonnet and additional glass for blind spots. Interior of the Fortuner facelift gets minimal accessories as the TRD Sportivo package. The company is offering new carpets, a luggage net and wooden treatment and door sill plates.
The new TRD Sportivo accessory package also offers electrical features like centre mirrors that works as a display for the rear camera, ventilated seats, wireless charger, power tailgate with kick sensor and puddle lamp. It also gets head up display as optional.
The Toyota Fortuner facelift is available with 2 engine options – a 150bhp, 2.4-litre diesel and a 201bhp, 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor.
