2021 Toyota Fortuner Facelift – What We Know So Far

Toyota Fortuner, the top-selling premium 7-seater SUV from the Japanese carmaker, is all set to witness a mid-life update in the country. The updated model has already been launched in Thai market, and it will hit Indian shores during 2020 festive season. While there are a few months of its arrival, here we bring all details we know so far. The 2021 Toyota Fortuner facelift will receive noticeable changes inside and out along with BS6-compliant diesel powertrain.

Talking about the exterior, the facelifed Fortuner will carry a completely revised front fascia. Similar to the Thai model, the India-spec version will feature a larger mesh-pattern grille, new LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs (daytime running lights), new fog lamp assembly, new silver skid plate and revised bumper. Save for the newly-designed 18-inch alloy wheels, the side profile will be more or less similar to the existing model. At the rear, the SUV will receive slimmer LED taillamps. No changes are likely to be made to its dimensions.
