2021 Toyota Fortuner facelift Launch Expected Before Diwali

The new Toyota Fortuner facelift has recently been spotted testing in the Indian market. The new model has already been launched in Thailand, while the Australian launch will take place in August 2020. It was speculated to be launched in early 2021; however, the recent sighting in India suggests that launch could take place before the end of this year.

Toyota could introduce the new Fortuner facelift during festive season, before Diwali. The company will aim to capitalise on the festive season to drive sales in the country. The new model has received cosmetic design changes and upgraded interior along with more powerful diesel engine. However, India-spec model is likely to retain the existing BS6-compliant 2.8L diesel engine.
